Welcome to the club house.

Please do not bring up bicycles on the roads, or pop tarts and all will be fine.

Ankeny is behind the lines, The Resistance is strong in that area.  John has a long mustache.

Another Ankeny guy here.  Just show up some day at the Ikes range (10 minutes from most of Ankeny) for one of the USPSA, IDPA, ICORE, or steel matches.

You better like 1911s, or I won't wanna be your friend

Grew up out in the country by Saylorville Lake.  Parents still live there but it's so developed compared to the old days that it's not the same.

I'm very familiar with the area before Saylorville Lake...I remember when I was younger riding my bicycle the road along the bottom of Jester Campground when it followed the river, I remember people "slime-sliding" down the spillway before it was officially opened up and I remember riding my Rupp mini bike and on the back of my dads motorcycle in the "Saylorville Toolies" all around the motorcycle trails and hill climbing up Spectator, Pepsi and Blue Angel hills.  The good old days!
