Google F-class shooting rules and what is F-class.

I don't think that would be for me, since I'd be teetering around on my fat belly.

I'm not exactly small and I had a good time at the one we put on in December ;)

Yeah, that was just a little bit of self-deprecating humor. I'm thinking I'll end up going if I have the extra time & money.

Decided to shoot in the .223/.308 class with my SPS Varmint in .308 & started working on handloads over the weekend. Kind of exciting, since this will be my first match.

ETA: Is it alright to shoot the .223/.308 class without a rear bag? I usually just use my left hand & am more comfortable that way.

Yes that's fine, a rear bag isn't required, just really helpful.
Just a side note, we aren't paying dues to any benchrest organizational bodies so were being lax on certain items, mainly allowing the use of muzzle brakes.

The shooting positions are covered, so we'll be there rain or shine. Just a heads up.

Well the turn out was as dismal as the weather, but the 3 of us were able to shoot the 100 yd course before the heavy rain hit. I managed to shoot a 136 3X out of 150 with an untried load so I was happy. Hopefully some of you can make the next one if the weather is prefect June 10th, be there or be an armchair commando

Any trigger time makes for a good day but the weather didn't exactly help us today.  Maybe the Colfax matches need to add the Postal Motto:   "Neither snow, nor rain, nor heat, nor gloom of night" We almost had it all today.  Still had fun, thanks for still shooting.

If I would've kmown my drummer was going to be too hung over for practice, I probably would've drove up there. But I'm not psychic.
