I have a Romanian AK-47 built on a Nodak receiver and was interested in adding a Kobra red dot to it. It does not have the sight mount along the left side of the receiver. Can this be added after the fact or has anybody done this?

Yeath the MPK-2 mount is what I was after. Looks like you can pick it up for about $25 or so, I just didn't know if it was a PITA to get installed. This is what I was trying to get as the setup:
The sight runs about $199 and with the mount about $25. You have the whole setup for $100 more than just the MI rail. I really like the MI rail and it looks good, just alot more than I wanted to spend. This is the AK it would be going on:

I picked up the scope mount today. This is the model that should work with it:
K-VAR optic rail mount Now I just need to get with Dave about mocking this up and making sure it will work. Then start looking to buy the optic |
