| So I was working today and started thinking!! Is there a civilian tactical team that like goes to touraments and see who wins kinda thing or am I totally out there?? You know like a competion for civilian tactical teams?? |
|
never heard anything like it for civilian stuff...then again i dont pay much attention to the competition side of shooting.
i thought it would be cool for a relay type event, precision, cqb, and other fun stuff... that way you have a team, and could make it a little more fun, but for safety issues you would probably want separate ranges for each leg of the race. |

What you mean the insurance?? anytime you have a venu or event where there is a risk posed you must have insurance. in case of harm or accidents. example you must have car insurance why cause shit happens and damage or harm may be done. if you run a business you must have insurance in case harm or foul happens in the line of work IE property or person damage. if you own certian dogs you must have insurance. anytime there is a chance that something may go afoul you must have insurance to cover "may be " damage or harm. the higher the risk the greater the cost of insurance. |
| Check out Tiger Valley down in Texas. I believe they do some team matches. Also, out in Arizona Cav Arms participates in these sorts of matches. Search for "Trooper" matches. i would also love to do these things with the right people but the startup costs would be plenty. |
| Hmmm ––- Civilaian Tactical Team–––– thats a new one on me. Might be a good idea for saturday night live like another thrilling episode of EX- Police. I think someone needs a membership to Front Sight |

is this the official beginning to our first mall ninja thread here in the ia htf? if any of you are interested, i have trauma plates you can use to resist 30 cal rounds to the back while your buddy reloads... I can supply the duct tape to hold them on. "If Plan A is to absorb multiple .338 rounds to the back...." |

The Gecko45 Saga was relived in GD just a few days ago....man that dude was either nutso or an epic troll. Either way someone was posting some rather Gecko45ish things in the Carry Issues section not too long ago as well. I wonder if he lives on...? |

I have seen the Union County TRT. Looked like they were sponsored by Ford, Copenhagen, Mossy Oak, and Remington. Thankfully I never saw the/one of the DSM teams, but I'll tell you, with all the drug problems here in Ohio, the OH Trooper SRT/TRT team is pretty intimidating to see on the road. |
