| Any of you guys out there cigar smokers ? If so where do you buy your cigars ? I have smoked a few occasionaly and just got on a kick lately. Psa the smokr shop on se14th next to scornovacas is not a good place to buy from. My stick was dry and the wrapper fell apart. I do not yet have a humidor to revive it. |

My brother shops at David's all the time (my brother is also named David...). While I do not smoke, they have a huge selection of loose tobaccos, a huge walk in humidor lined with cigars, and used estate pipes. My brother just recently bought a hand carved pipe from them for like 80$. If you buy tobacco from them and do not like it you can bring it back and they will exchange what you have left for something else. They will also custom cut (blend) tobaccos together for you. And to answer one of your concerns, they do have some small humidors and some really cool plastic hermetic containers for cigars. |

I do not smoke often but when I do I go to David's Briar at Merle Hay. Good prices and helpful staff. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile Big +1 to that. I stop in when ever i'm in DM. There isn't any place good around here so i order mine online from www.cigarsinternational.com |
| +1 on the Tobacco Hut, nice selection, fair prices, have bought from them for years, also Pars and Cigars across from Hooters in Clive, they have a really nice selection, can be pricey, they have alot of the major sticks, and also have a room set up where you can smoke cigars. I quit going to David's Briar, they seem to hover over you while your in the humidor. I also buy cigars on line from JR Cigars, they have a alternative line, copies of the major brands, they are not to bad for a everday smoke. |

I quit going to David's Briar, they seem to hover over you while your in the humidor. I've noticed this at times as well and it's really quite annoying. Other times they leave you alone. They have been quite helpful for the most part when I've been there. For anyone venturing to Omaha, I highly recommend Ted's Tobacco at 144th and Pacific. Outstanding service and selection. It's one of the few places I've ever seen a "firearms friendly" sticker on the front door. |
| I would not buy a cigar from David's if they were the only place to buy cigars, they stand so close to you when your looking over their stock, makes you feel like they think your going to steal one, plus the prices are to high, I buy alot of cigars from the Tobacco Hut on Hickman Road, and the outlet store across the street from Hyvee in Ankeny, I also order from JR Cigars, I like the JR Alternatives, and the prices are reasonable. |

| When I was a regular cigar smoker, I'd buy most of my sticks from Famous Smoke Shop online. My taste buds went south about three years ago, and nothing in my humidor tasted good since. I've turned back to pipes now. My 1200+ cigars will just wait until my taste buds come around. |

I have a humidor but any more use gallon ziplock bags with a ball of wet toilet paper in the corner and reall works good.
Lots of good brands out there but it depends what you like, I like very mild. Half the time I smoke flavored cigars, grape berry and etc.. The grapes one people really seem to like the smell of them so will smoke them more in public or at the range. This is wear I been getting them from for a fwe years and there are normally rates for the cigars. |

feunte 8-5-8 (pretty consistent from year to year, but the occasional crap makes it in)
h.upmann - torbusto (hard to find, but a real joy to smoke) h.upmann - monte cristo 2 (one of my favorites) la aroma de cuba - robusto (top pick for me as a budget cigar) <–– probably the one of the best of the bunch for a blend of taste, consistency, and price - most are under $5 if you shop around... diamon crown - maximus (really great with an old tequila or even mash whiskey) opus xxx (always a treat, but the last several i've smoked have been very hard to keep lit) torano exodus (one of my routine favorites) punch punch (considered a daily smoker by my father-in-law) rocky patel 15th anniversay toro (one of my favorites and the FIL's too) i used to really dig the box pressed henry clays but they have really gone downhill several years in a row, same with a lot of the onyx... |

Im really diggin the acids for flavored. As well as kopi luwak and tatiana mocha. Other wise olivias, CAO, and fuentes. I smoked a cuban partegas that was pretty damn good too. Fammy, Which Acids have you tried? Personally, the Kuba Kuba is at the top of my list. The Liquid isn't bad either. Besides the Acids I'm a fan of the H. Upmann Vintage Cameroon and the Padron Londres maduro. |

I got an acid sampler tin so I will end up trying everything thats in it. To date ive smoked the kuba kuba (my favorite as well) the kuba maduro, the 1400 cc tubos, the cnotes, the blondies, nasty(typenot taste) and the ming dynasty. The ming dynasty I could take or leave. The others ive mentioned I enjoyed again with the kuba kuba and kuba maduro being my favorites. |
