I took Thursday afternoon off from work. Put some shorts and a t shirt on and raked/cleaned the yard. Tried to get rid of my winter beer to make room for the summer stuff. Stayed in the sun and warmth as long as I could. It was a awesome afternoon.
Friday SUCKED and the first day of spring is depressing. Going to the basement to reload and listen to 93.3. I did manage to get out to the timber and test fire the piston conversion Stongarm did on my AR. Used a new Brownells 20 rounder, Mil Surplus 5.56, 20 rounds thru the rifle, not a hickup. It was nice to smell burnt powder again. Stag Lower, Rebuilt Superior Upper with TNW Piston Conversion, Mil Surplus Aimpoint Mount with riser, Aimpoint C3 Red Dot, Carbine case from Ron at APEX, (The case is awesome, you really need to get one) This is going to be my pickup rifle, I may paint it a different color, I don't know yet.

| I was in today and seen that they have some pistols in the pistol cabinet, bought a couple of the gun cases to put some extra AR's in. I don't see me getting out the motorcycle for a little while yet and it'll probably be May before it gets out and actually ridden in earnest. |
