I just bought an in ground pet fence for my labs. For those who have put this in before, whats the easiest way to bury the wire? Also whats the easiest way to cross a gravel lane with the wire?

He went and got a cheap gas chain saw and used it to cut a trench all around his hard and then placed the wire in it.
| I used a old lawn edger with a little bit of rigging... put a little larger blade on it and made sure it dug a couple of inches down in the ground, it worked great but never would have passed OSHA! To get across our gravel driveway I just dug a trench with a small spade and then buried it back up, I haven't had any problems so far with the fence. What part of Iowa are you in, if you are near the QC you can probably borrow the lawn edger I used... let me know!!! |
