as it's been 111 degrees twice so far this Spring and the summer heat wave hasn't hit over here yet!

Sorry I don't get to post or log on very often as the firewall can be pretty picky about certain websites about logging on but you can generally lurk, so that's what I generally do when I get a chance.  I look forward to getting back later this summer and doing some shooting and just relaxing.

Your 1919A4 Browning still needs test fired. Maybe Strongarm and I will find some time to get your gun dirty next week. I have two new stand up ped mounts to try out also.

jason told me you were crazy to stay over there during the summer...  when i remarked to him last month that you were going to stay longer he said:  "yeah, he's fuckin' crazy, he's never been there during the summer yet or he'd reconsidered that decision..."  i had to laugh a bit.

Don't worry Booger, Whiteing and I will have any problems wrung out of your 1919A4 by the time you get back.   Hell, by that time we'll have have caused a few and wrung those out too.   Anyway, I figure the best way to to do a function check on a BMG is by repeated belt dumps followed by a WD40 bath.  By the way, where are your spare parts stored?

Rest easy, we have everything under control here.

I'm not anticipating any problems, but I do have a new can of WD-40!

I'll have to dig out my 8mm barrel and bullet guide so that we can run that corrosive turkish stuff thru it.

Pretty much common now to be up over 105 everyday and that doesn't even count the extra heat caused by the concrete on the flightline and all the running jets.

I've been thru heat before as I've been stationed at Khobar Towers in Saudi Arabia, Al Jabar in Kuwait, Al Udeid in Qatar and now here.  I was also stationed at Luke down in Phoenix but that doesn't really count as you had all the comforts of home you could do when you got off work and weren't working 13 hour days 6 days a week.  The most miserable place I've worked at when it was hot was at Al Udeid as it was 120 some days with 80-90% humidity, when the sun dropped down the temperatures lowered to about 100 but the humidity went up instead...buy you did get a ration of 3 alcoholic drinks a day from the club but I'm not a big drinker and didn't have anything to drink until 2 weeks before we left to come home.
