Ok, so it wasn't the next gun, but it's still a revolver, and a spiffy lil snubbie!

.38 special only.  I put 80 rounds through it tonight and can't imagine shooting .357!  It's got some snap to it.

But anyway, I got a bonus at work, so a bit of it went to a nice summer carry weapon

A snubbie would have been my recommendation.  Sure they have less capacity, but are a LOT less likely to let you down when you need them.  Welcome to the snub club, and congratulations!

You definitely have the psychotic don't fuck with me look down.

Have always had a thing for snubbies.  Currently own 2, a Colt DS and a Smith 10.  Tricky little buggers to shoot well, but fun.

If I had a carry permit, the Smith would travel with me regularly (the Colt is getting to valuable for a daily carry piece).  Alas, living in the PRJC it won't happen.

Taurus is good stuff.  Own two, no complaints.

I think you will really enjoy it.  I picked up some different grips for mine, but it lost a lot of the smallness that originally attracted me to it.  I will probably put the original wooden grips back on it for summer.
