Went to the range in Cassleton today, I have neither seen it so busy or seen so many ar15's there before. I waited patiently sitting on my ammo can for about an hour for my turn. Good to see a range that's not loaded with fudds, even saw a chap with a Larue Tactical sticker on his AR case!

I dont know that there is a exact definition of "FUDD" everyone has a varation,
Basically a Gun owner that is not into "Black guns". ( sometimes thought of as ignorant, no knowlege of any firarms other then his wood stocked, tasco scoped, bent barrel deer rifles) Usally the old school type, bolt action deer rifles, break open shotgun, everything must have a wood stock and anything synthetic is crap from china. They think anything that holds over 5 bullets is "over kill" and must be illegal. He thinks guns are only for Ducks and shooting his cousin when he catchs them with his wife / sister. They cant load an AR mag but swears up and down his 270 is the all time best gun ever made, and the military just doesnt know it yet. He wears and orange cap so other fudds will know hes a fudd as well, kinda a mating thing I guess. Beleives no one but cops should have semi auto pistols and his colt 45 is ultimate hand of God if he catchs you on his lawn. He thinks NFA is a division of the NFL and that shooting his gun 5 times before deer season makes him the worlds greatest shot. Hes a firm beleiver that generic low dollar guns and scopes are just as good as well know name brand rifles and optics, he just doesnt want to pay extra for the name. Stevens and JC Higgins are the greatest thing ever and everyone copied their design. 1 more thing, he will tell you that you can file down the sear in any semi auto and make a Machine Gun.
