Hey guys,
I bought a gsg-522 last week and plan on sbring and canning it. I was going to efile this weekend on it but I have a few questions. 1) When it gets approved do I fill out a RI-60 just like one would with a pistol lower receiver when it becomes a pistol? 2) Then I got to thinking, if I remember correctly a pistol can become a rifle.... But a rifle cannot become a pistol. And since this gun is going to fall into MI classification as a pistol could I even do it? Am I over thinking this?? SquatchHunter |

It may depend on which stock you use. Greater the 26" OAL when SBR'd then no pistol reg needed. Less than 26 than pistol reg needed.
If needed and you have a CPL, yes you just fill out the RI60 and send it in. No CPL, pick up a permit at a local PD, fill it out, turn in back in. |
