Hello all,
I need some clarification on the RI-60 sales record form. Forgive me, I've never sold a pistol before and the internet is being stingy with information. Is the RI-60 only for buyers who have a CPL? Thanks, Josh |

Are you conducting a private party sale?
If the buyer does not have a CPL, they will need a pistol purchase permit from the local police station, or make the sale through a local FFL and skip the police station. Not having a CPL makes buying a pistol a pain in the ass for yourself and the seller. That's why many people refuse to sell to private individuals without a CPL, it's just too much hassle. |
