Anyone going?   Seems like a bad time for one, everyone is still recovering from Christmas.

Meh, maybe. I'm not really looking for anything in particular, but I might burn the gas. Gonna be a boring weekend otherwise.

I have taken the family twice in the past.  For the prices that I saw and the price of admission for my family & I, & the 45 minute drive, we came to the conclusion that it's a waste of time for us.

I didn't notice but Southhoof pointed out that the admission went up to $7.

I've done well walking around and selling there.
I might head up and see if I get any bites on a SOCOM16 and Bulgarian AK I'm looking to move.

Hmmm, I never thought of taking a gun to sell.  I'm looking to offload my LWRCI M6A2 with a bunch of 75 grain Hornady HP's.  I want to upgrade to a .308.  Might be worth a trip after all.

Hmm... the GF and I are planning on going to the bike show in Novi on Sat. and then dinner/movie with friends after. Might have to try and fit the gunshow it too.

I'm actually trying to move the SOCOM or AK so I can pick up a piston driven AR...PM coming your way!

My 19yr old and I went today.  It was packed.  We got there are 9:30 and the line was done the sidewalk to the south parking lot.  It was just as bad on the way out.  Lot of guns but prices were of course high.  A few vendors did have some decent prices on new Pmags, some ar parts and bulk 9mm.  Lots of UTG gear, airsoft crap and overpriced Chinese scopes.

Sheridan Arms? was there with quite a few suppresors.

How does the Birch Run show compare with the Grand Rapids show?

I've never been to GR, if I'm going that far I'll go to one of the Indy shows.

Bigger than GR...more crap though and a few more guns.

I went yesterday. While really no good deals at all, they did have an AR upper/lower deal for 629$,complete rifles.
I didn't really get a good look,so I have no idea on a name.

Couple of saiga 12s for 650 and up..

Went Sunday, We didn't see much worth getting excited over-I bought a cheap Chinese UTG sight to go on a .22 plinker and was immediately sorry for it. Wouldn't even fit my rail..

Did see my first Keltec KSG though.... The sellers wanted $2500 for it.

I ended up going to the bike show yesterday.   It was a little disappointing though, the only Euro bikes there was Triumph.

For real, how many vendors need to be selling that stuff?  And most of it is easily available online much cheaper.

It was very packed, I'll say that.  It did seem like the usual high prices, nobody is ever willing to deal either.  Sometimes it feels more like collector displays than stuff for sale.

I did have some luck walking and selling.

I thought it was weird that BMW wasn't there.. You would think that a company doing as well as they are would be able to pull a few stops out.

I did see the new MV Agusta F3,  and the EBR 1190RS which was the highlight of the show for me bike wise.

I agree, what an awesome bike!!!!    I was really disappointed about BMW and KTM.   I sold my R1 to get a quad but I am thinking about a sport touring bike and BMW is probably top of the list for me.   My oldest son is going to be 3 next month so I'm thinking he will be getting a dirtbike in the spring   I put him on the PW-50 and he says "That ones not right dad, its too small."   He thinks he can ride a full size bike!!

Think my next bike will be some sort of standard/adventure tourer. I like the Kawasaki Versys, or I did until the new Triumph Tiger 800 came out..... I envy the time you are going to ride with your little boy, I bought my nephew in Idaho a CRF50 a few years ago but have only seen him ride it twice.

I dunno, the same clowns who have the long glass cases and have had the HK416 for a breathtaking price all year.
