They accomplished a feat they haven't done since 1932 with winning 12 games in a row.

Man, these guys are good right now.

GO TIGERS

Don't worry. I have faith in Detroit. They WILL fuck this up, one way or another, before it's too late

You obviously don't know much about baseball.

See? They lost, lol. No, I do not know much about baseball, other than it is marginally less boring than watching golf

And last night they clinched the AL Central division....

Looking forward to the playoffs.  If things hold up we'll have Boston in the first round.  Could be a tough matchup, but I think they will come through.

The way Tampa has been playing lately, I won't be surprised if its them instead of Boston.  I'm hoping its Boston.  Tampa's pitching staff is doing really well lately...  Tampa is currently 1.5 back of Boston.

I have watched every single game since the beginning of the season.  I am a die hard Tigers fan, Lions fan and Wings fan.  If they are playing, I am watching.

I don't miss a game.  If you ever want to get your leg ass together, I'll buy the pizza.

Not if they play like they did last night before the rain out.  Inge and Cabby making fielding errors and Verlander was real nervous throwing near 100 mph and wild.  They all need to settle down or they'll be out before they know it.

Yep, it's pissing me the fuck off. They're playing like they're fucking nervous and never been in this situation before.

YOU'RE FUCKING MAJOR LEAGUERS MAKING MILLIONS OF BUCKS PLAYING IN 40,000+ SEATED STADIUMS, HOW THE FUCK CAN YOU BE NERVOUS!?!?!?!?

Damn Tigers made that game a rollercoaster ride. One more game and we're on to the next series.

Verlander is some kind of freak of nature. As he gets into the later innings, his fast ball speed INCREASES.

That is crazy how he was throwing 100+ in the 8th inning

Reggie Jackson is in town today, denying my co-workers autographs. On their collective way over to kiss yankee ass, I told them to tell Mr. October that he should go home and sulk (in a nice polite way of course).

Way to play like shit tonight, Tigs.  Don't have a good feeling about game 5 in NY.  Nova owned us the first time around.  Please prove me wrong.

Based Fister.  Calm your fears.  The Tigers have it in the bag.

6-3 versus Texas
So no matter what the Texas homers who don't understand history tell you, this matchup favors Tigers.

Ogando isn't starting.  I guess Ron Washington started snorting coke again.  Ogando is the only pitcher who has owned the Tigers this year.

Is it just me or do the fucking Tigers look like a deer in headlights again just like in game 1 versus Yankees????

You'd think playing the biggest most high profile team in professional sports, they'd be much more relaxed. Now they're fucking playing Texas and making BONE HEADED mistakes and playing all tensed up. WHAT THE FUCK???

And the guys hitting all year long aren't hitting and Jackson is a complete JOKE, hitting like .100 and he isn't fielding well either. At least if you fucking can't hit shit, you at least need to be good at defense, and he has been ASS in both departments.

Ugh, this is so frusterating.

Ogando is way too good.  We had plenty of opportunities with Wilson pitching bug squandered them.  Their pitching just made us look amateur.

Yes, it has been postponed until Monday.  They will lose their travel day and still play back here on Tuesday.

Nice pitch by Perry in the 11th eh?  Whiskey Tango Foxtrot batman.... They better hope the hometown fans can settle them into a groove where they win a ballgame... *sigh*

Went to the game tonight.  Crowd was as loud as I've ever seen it.  Just gotta win on Saturday and then anything can happen in a game 7.

Nice, that must have been an awesome game to be at. Young for two, Avilla getting one and Raburn knocking another out. These guys never stop amazing me. They have been in a little funk but this game should help get them out of it.

We got murders row for a pitching staff. Verlander, Scherzer, Fister and Porcello.

I think we can win the next two if the bats show up again like last night.

I don't care what the guys in the Texas HTF say, tonight is looking good for the Tigers. Scherzer vs. Holland with Papa Grande rested and ready, plus the big win momentum factor from Thursday. I still believe that the Tigers are in this series.

The people in Texas should be very nervous. Texas is trotting out a guy with a 10 ERA versus Scherzer who has been an ACE this playoffs. Plus the fact that Texas has overworked it's bullpen and the Tiger hitters seem to have found their confidence again.

These Tigers are really dangerous right now. If Texas doesn't win tonight, all bets are off for game 7. Especially with Fister on he mound for game 7.

They've come a long way from the team that lost more games than any other team in the history of the American League back in 2003.

They have a lot to be proud of.

2011 was an outstanding season.  Verlander got a no-hitter and the Cy Young, Avila and Peralta had career years, Inge bounced around then came alive in the playoffs, we acquired Fister and Young, Valverde and his 53 saves... and much more.  The Tigers kicked some serious ass this season.
