CPL That was quick > Michigan

My wife took her CPL class 3-4 weeks ago and we dropped everything off that Friday. The gun board meets on the first tuesday of the month. She received her approval letter yesterday. Kudos to Clinton County and their people for a great job.

Yup, they run a very tight operation for that in Clinton county. Too bad the license looks a little like a fake ID a 12yr old would make. Oh well.

I hope i move out of macomb county before mine expires. I am not looking forward to a 90 day wait, when my Oakland county one took almost 3 weeks to the day.

I got lucky... mine came back approved after 1.5-2 weeks in Kalamazoo County. Still not sure how I managed that.

I turned mine in in Jan. Still haven't gotten anything.

I am probably one of the ONLY people to ever have to go to the gun board in Midland county. And that was due to my 3 year old DUI, which didn't affect me, as I had waited the 3 years. I have NEVER heard of anybody else ever having to go to the board.

Mines coming due this fall and I asked her how long it would take. She said "a couple weeks" It really sucks that these counties play games.

The paperwork said they could withhold it for 6 months because I'm a new MI resident
