Any FFL/SOT can handle a DD transfer since there are no DD dealers in Michigan. However, the NFA branch only allows one tax free DD transfer a year to an SOT. So, I would be willing to handle it, but might charge a bit more than a usual NFA transfer since I would not be able to do another one for a year. IF memory, serves me, any FFL holder can handle the DD transfer but they would have to pay a $200.00 transfer tax, then you would be pay it again to transfer it to you.
What are you wanting to transfer in? I did an M203 last year. |
