Without actually seeing how the plays were run it sounds like there is still not much of an offense except for tuck and run QB. More like 3/4 the offense. Imagine Pat White, that is FASTER and a much better THROWER combined. Once he gets up to speed, he is going to be unstoppable. You put 8 guys in the box and he will throw and kill you. You put 6 guys in the box to take away the pass and his feet will kill you. Amazing athlete and a team player to boot. Dont think he will do well in the NFL but in college he is going to be a stud. |

A "Go Blue" thread started by a fan of little brother? I cannot abide by this. BTW, D Rob has filled the QB spot just fine, thanks! I love the "walmart wolverine" insults. It just shows how jealous the State fans have been for living in the shadow of UM for over 40 years. |

Darren McFadden, but better. He'll get drafted like Darren, but will he pay off? Randell Cunningham did alright. |

We'll find out, but something tells me Notre Dame has some of the biggest and hard hitting linebacks in the country, and they weren't able to put out Denard. Oh well, after the 4-0 start last year, that lead to disaster, I am being cautious about my optimism. However, Denard does look like the QB that Rich Rod has needed. Plus he has shattered almost all the QB records, with over 800 yards total offense in 2 games, and NOT against cupcakes (UConn and ND). You guys got a big game next week, I wouldn't want to look further down the road to "beating" Michigan when you should be concentrating on beating your next opponent. |

That was a crazy ass last minute trick play to beat Notre Dame. I don't even like State and I was rooting for them (MSU) to lose, but I laughed my ass off when I saw that. I'm not taking too much into account for Michigan having a bad game against UMass. I think people underestimate at the level these FCS teams can play when HIGHLY motivated. But for crying out loud, Michigan beat Notre Dame at their house, and it took a miracle trick play for Michigan State to beat Notre Dame at Spartan Stadium. So, I wouldn't get too cocky now Spartan fans. Denard Robinson put up big numbers again. Glad to see he was passing the ball most of the game, to show, again, you can't just pack 8 in the box and expect he can ONLY run. GO BLUE! |
| My problem is Denard Robinson beat ND. It may have been in ND's house but their QB was gone for half a game. No matter how you want to slice it, he saved their can in all three games. For the most part he has done it with his feet. I know that in the spread the QB is supposed to be involved but there is no balance in the attack. |

MUHAHAHAHAHAHA . Michigan sucks . Umass Had them on the ropes and could not hold on . Did you guys see any weakness in the Wolverine squad on Sat. ? Hmmmmm....... They cant stop the run....... Hmmm... U of M is going to get squashed in the Big Ten season!!!! There is no doubt in my mind . U cant hang with the Big Ten teams if your Defense is weak . It is just a fact of life . Denard can, and will be stopped by decent teams ! Ohio State is going to punish Michgan so bad i can hardly wait for the end of the season !!!!!! Spartans will show up to play in Ann Arbor and smear Wolverines all over the field .
I dont even have to mention last nights game because that was one of the greatest wins I have seen since Ducket caught the winning touchdown against U of M in final second !!!!!!!!!!!!! GO GREEEN |

And before you say you're team is gonna knock him out. They have to catch him first  and also, he has been hit by very big linemen already and seemed to do okay, plus the fact that he CAN throw the ball.And again, Michigan State had to rely on a miracle trick play in the end to beat Notre Dame in Michigan State's House! Michigan beat Notre Dame AT Notre Dame, without overtime. But hey, keep that cocky attitude, it will make it more enjoyable after you post a thread about how to fix a TV after you put your foot through it because there was no way Michigan was supposed to win. Do you really want to go there? According to ESPN Wisconsin has the No. 18th ranked Total Offense in Div. I-A, while MSU is ranked No. 15th. True Michigan is ranked No. 2, but Denard had to go out of the game again on Sat. briefly for an injury. This guy will never last the season. MSU's Defense is allowing 18.6 pts/game & 328.6 yds/game Notre Dame Defense 24.8 pts/game 401 yds/game Indiana Defense 25 pts/game 397.3 yds/game Michigan Defense 25.4 pts/game 433.6 yds/game Why don't you learn stats and not just what you think. |

Also, Michigan is not doomed if Denard gets hurt. Remember the last time he was out for a whole half? He could have come back in. But the other QBs were getting yards just as easily. What is this crap about Denard being the only good player? LOL. What about Roundtree? Hemmingway? Shaw? Hell, Smith did pretty decent too. There's a bunch of players who had big numbers. These morons act like when Denard throws to ball someone and they run for a Touchdown, it was actually Denard who caught the pass and ran for the touchdown. NO. You still have to have good & fast players to make the players our wide outs are making. These are the SAME guys who were catching the ball or running for touchdowns when Garner or Forcier were playing this year. Lets not be revisionists here, Denard isn't the ONLY guy who can put points on the board. Who is coming out of the tunnel to play on Saturday? Oh yeah, it's Denard. Notre Dame has one of THE best DBs in the country Manti T'eo and he got some good hits on Denard, and Denard didn't leave the game. The kid isn't fragile, even though the Michigan haters would LOVE to think that. Secondly, the defense has every bit if not MORE talent than Michigan State, and they couldn't stop Denard. I just love it! the past 5 games every fan of the other team guaranteed that Denard was NOT going to do to them what Denard did to the previous team, and he did it. lol. Seriously, MSU fans are setting themselves up for a big disapointment if they think their defense is going to have the magic pill next week to stop Denard. Lets not forget that Michigan's biggest weakness on defense is the secondary. Michigan State is actually the first team Michigan will play that uses the power running game. It actually plays more into Michigan's defense. I'm not a slappy, I'm actually nervous about the game. But when I look at it through a microscope, Michigan still has all these advantage and IS playing at home. Also, Michigan isn't the same as last year, Denard has turned the ball over ONCE, the entire year, it's not like last year where we turned the ball over like 3 or 4 times and still ALMOST beat 3 opponents (MSU, Iowa and OSU). |
