I know MDFI has run courses out of Centerline range in Calhoun County and that ACTS meet there as well. Does anyone here have experience there and if so what can you tell me about the range itself? I'm going down there this weekend and kind of curious if it's a nice set-up and defensive firearms friendly (ie good pistol and carbine range areas). Are the directors friendly and is it worth paying for a membership there?

Thanks for any intel.

Very friendly to defensive type shooting. Host a lot of classes and ACTS matches. 1 100 yard, two 50 yard and 1 25 yard bays. Archery, sporting clays, etc. on sight.

Downside is that they're only open Wed/Sat/Sunday per their agreement with their local township.

Membership is pretty cheap..$125.00 or something (don't quote me..but something like that.)

Centerline is top notch.  Very friendly environment without the ego and attitude that you get from some ranges.

Had my first visit there a bit ago, super nice people and a very nice range. Very clean, neat, and nicely laid out.

Been there twice for courses by Jericho Defense Services, both the range and the course instruction were top notch.  I thought about joining, but with only Wed/Sat & Sun hours, it may not work.
