| So, I hosted a little get together at my house and some individuals brought fireworks. These said individuals began to fire them off and apparently one landed on the neighbhors car and left a burn mark. Who's respoinsible for said damage. Homeowner or person who fired said firework? |

I don't know who LEGALLY is responsible, but whomever brought the fireworks and launched the thing ought to have the stones to offer up to pay. I would think that LEGALLY/CIVILLY that the homeowner from whose property they came from would be held accountible (you know gotta keep your guests in line). The person that brought and shot them off however, SHOULD be the one that pays. J- |

Some dirtbags who live near my MIL's home in Garden City launched a mortar firework right into her bathroom window, home caught on fire. Cops wouldn't come. FD took a long time to show. Neighbors with hoses put it out. There is a mess there now. Thankfully the insurance company is working with her well. ![]() |

Unless you want hard feelings, I'd take care of i if I were you. Then I'd get with my buddy. I know that if I were in your neighbors shoes, and it was left unmentioned, there would be an all new 2010 Hatfield & McCoys. But, then again, I don't like my neighbor anyway..... |
