...to the hand state, what are job prospects like?  Want to be in the Lansing area; are the taxes still high in Ingham Co?  What about housing availability?  Are there still public ranges, last I was there, Rose Lake range was still open and there was one down near Dansville, off Kelly Rd.  Also, gun shops, is Classic arms still open (Between Holt and Mason)?  What other info do I need to know?  It's been like 12 years since I have left.   I would like to be closer to the family.  Thanks guys.

RUN for the hills. Jobs, their available but scarce. Areas that thrived on the Big 3 are becoming ghost towns. Beware.

Not if you can bring your job with you. Michigan's official unemployment rate is the highest in the country, 15.2% I think? And headed up.

job market sucks, lots of houses for sale, rose lake is open and was rebuilt a couple of years ago, classic arms is still open, prices are still high. the gunstore between holt and mason is total firearms and they are still there.  i hear ads for lansinghelpwanted.com all the time on the radio but don't know whats available.
