Do incoming transfers (WA to MI) need to be shipped from a WA FFL to a MI FFL? Or can a WA individual ship to MI FFL?

I'm buying a gun from a person in WA.

It's up to the FFL if he wants to accept from an individual or not. No reason not too as long as the shipper sends common carrier (UPS/FedEx), and provides good ID.

That's what I thought - know of a FFL in the Downriver Area that accepts shipment from individual?

If downriver is in Detroit I have no idea. Anything east of Ann Arbor might as well be Beirut, Lebanon. We don't go there, and consider it forfeit to Ohio and Canada.
