All instructors should be able to perform all drills on demand in all conditions. That isn't to say they never make mistakes, but they should be able to demonstrate any drill being taught. Question anybody who cannot perform their own drills.
Tactical slap fight:
One in a million chances probably. Are all of your rounds in your carry mags loaded properly? Are you SURE?
First rule of gunfighting: Have a gun. Second rule of gunfighting: Bring friends with guns. Third rule of gunfighting: Bring photographer to document said gunfight.
"Who taped my magazine to my frame so I couldn't release it?"
Some schools teach aimed fire, some teach point shooting. I guess they both work provided you get hits? (Sorry for the bad photography humor...)

I have taken 3 or 4 of Steve's Handgun classes and I was never taught tactical slap fighting......I want my money back. |
