We'll be back in MI mid-August and need a place to live. Just my wife and I, no kids/pets/smoking.
Looking for: -Between E. Lansing & Ann Arbor -≤$700/mo. -Short-Term Lease ≤3mo. -Not ghetto Thinking maybe Howell, Mason, Stockbridge, Pinckney, etc. Anywhere in the square between 96, 94 & 127, 23. Anyone have any ideas/suggestions? Thanks in advance. |

Considered just buying a home? That's an option for down the road a bit, but we need an immediate place to stay when we come back. Gotcha. There are some unbelievable bargains out their now. I doubt it would take long at all to find something acceptable, especially if you have pre-approved financing. If someone had the free time and ability, they could pick something up for a song and possibly unload it in a couple of years after some work at a nice profit. Then again, I cannot say w/ certainty the market will have improved in 2 years. Hard to say. I do know a guy who made high offer on a foreclosed property at ~1/5 of what it sold for ~4 years ago. It requires some work, but he is up to the task and is going to end up w/ a nice house dirt cheap, even considering his own labor. |
