I was out in Vermont visiting the In-Laws for Thanksgiving.   Stopped by a local gun shop to search for AR parts.   They had tons of stuff in stock for VERY good prices.  no stripped lowers but they had Rock River 16" barrels for list price.   Rock River LPK's for $69.  XM193 on strippers $230 for 600rds.   Had DPMS 308's for $945.  most all AR's were $850 to $900....Bushmaster, DPMS...   Had a beautiful used Bushmaster carbine for $650.   Lots of mags and other small parts.   I talked to the owner for awhile....hell of a nice guy.   He was more interested in my take on the auto industry.

Hey Matt, I know that place! Grew up in Essex Jct.  My buddy and I used to ride our bikes out to that place to ogle all their guns and stuff before we were old enough to drive and buy ourselves. Bill always was a nice guy to us even though he knew we couldn't buy.

Damn...so that's what I missed out on.  I was in Northfield, Vermont (Norwich University) back in May for some National Guard training.  Before I went I posted in the New England hometown forum and a few people told me to stop in there.  Well I drove up there during the only time I had available but they were closed.  Bummer.
