hey all..

it has been about 5 years since i have been to any shows. I went to the flint show last week which i knew would be semi waste.

Is the flint show decent recently or should i just wait for Birch Run?

thanks!

Lansing or Flint show?

I've found some good deals at the Lansing show but you have to do some weeding out. I've had VERY good luck with walk in sales, one's I have done have been very good.

It'll probably be busy.

Never been to Flint so I dont know how it compares.  Lansing is a good show...Ive been to worse.  I'll be there Friday sometime.

Birch Run is good, Midland is better. (Midland only comes around once a year so pay attention for it)

How are you guys rating these shows?

I frequent the Lansing, Birch Run, and Mt. Clemens shows. I'd rate Birch Run the best simply because of a large # of tables, plus the building is nicer and the show is located near lots of restaurants. The Lansing show has not quite as many tables, but it's located in the middle of nowhere. Mt. Clemens isn't much but the good folks from Tactical Solution and Centennial (anotherlefty) are usually there.

Haven't seen one show or another loaded with "great deals." Those seem random.

I rate them all a 10 for sweet samurai swords, flavored almonds, and airsoft.

A customer of ours said Cavalry Arms will be there ? I haven't been to a Lansing show in a year or so. This might be a reason to go

Went to the Lansing show today.  It was packed!!!!!  Had all the usual host of dealers, but lots of guns being sold on the floor.  Ended up picking up several thousand rounds of 22lr and an Arms mount.  I'd put this one a few notches above the typical Lansing show.

I spent the day perch fishing in beautiful weather.  I think I made the right decision.

Four or five dealers had them, with the normal prices.  They ran anywhere form $110-$135, depending on what mfg. you want.  I try and buy them from Eric.  He seems to have the best selection and best pricing.  If you go to the show today, he is on the left side, 2/3 of the way back, right on the main aisle, one row in front of Tony's.

Good luck!

So true, I have never seen it this busy, there was still a line at 11:30 to get in. I do think there were tons of FTF sales, part of that being due to the economy and part being due to the upcoming election. It was a general madhouse but there was some VERY nice stuff there if you looked. Some was overpriced as usual but some of it was pretty fairly marked.

Save for one or two dealers, the surp ammo market and dealers are dead and gone.
