Anyone in Michigan that you would suggest for assembling an upper and perm attaching a flash hider?  The plan is to have Adco do it, but I WILL NOT ship the components as my FedEx, UPS and USPS people are the worst and have a tendency to destroy my stuff.  They won't let me schedule a day to have the work done, and it is a 3.5 hour round trip.  I'm just looking for some place closer to home that does similar work.  The problem is, I fear I know the answer that there is no one local.

Thanks, y'all.

Ship it insured, and pay ADCO to ship it back to you insured.

I'll probably just drive it down there.  It'll cost more in gas than shipping, but at least I will know how it is handled.  Propdoc there has been great with me, I just wanted to make sure I didn't miss any MI folks before I make the jaunt.

hate to be the one to say this but, if you are currently in possesion of a barrel less than 16" while in possesion of a lower receiver...you better get the FH on there pronto.

Personally, I would have ADCO cut down your currently 16" barrel and perm attach the FH bringing the OAL back to 16".

Brownells sells a soldering paste that has the flux already mixed in.  You just clean the threads inside and out,  and then heat it with a propane torch.
