Guys,

I need a lawyer who is willing to return calls, familiar with the 16th District Court and familiar with Real Estate. If he or she is not a good listener and not willing to return calls, then please do not refer them to me.

This is short fuse and I need some help.

IM is best.

TIA,

Chris

Thanks, man. Its a contractor suing me (again) for something that has been previously dismissed.

If it was previously dismissed "with predjudice", I'd forego incurring any further attorney costs.

Respond to the subpoena with the previous judgement.

If the cocksucker insists on going forward with a spurious action, counter sue for what you got coming and more.  He wouldn't be trying again if he wasn't desperate and/or had access to free / cheap legal.  When you become a problem to his free / cheap legal, you'll get left alone.

Don't know anyone down there, sorry.  May be worth a trip in person with the old judgement in hand to speak with a clerk.  Clerks can be wonderful allies.
