| GOOD EVENING TO ALL. THIS IS MY FIRST POST ON AR15.COM. MY FRIEND TALL SHADOW INTRODUCED ME TO THE SITE. HE HAS BEEN ON THE SITE FOR A WHILE, AND HAS POSTED IN THE PAST. I JOINED BECAUSE OF BRD. MOST PEOPLE CALL ME MO, BUT I REGISTERED AS SORT308. I WAS LOOKING FOR ANY INFORMATION ON MILLETT SCOPES. I WAS LOOKING AT A MILLETT 4-16X50 TACTICLE 30MM RIFLE SCOPE. IT HAS ILLUMINATED MIL DOTS, SIDE FOCUS, TURRETS, AND A MAT FINISH. SWFA IS ASKING 399.00. THE SCOPE HAS EVERY THING I WANT, BUT DON'T WANT TO SPEND THE MONEY TO FIND OUT THAT IT WON'T HOLD A ZERO, OR THE GLASS IS REAL BAD. IF I HAD THE MONEY, I WOULD GO BUY A NIGHT FORCE. THIS SCOPE WILL BE PLACED ON A J&T KIT THAT I PUT TOGETHER. IT HAS A 24" FAT STAINLESS STEEL BARREL WITH VARMINT HUNTING ON MY MIND. |

Welcome to ARFCOM! I have the same Millet scope you are referring to. I really like it. I have it mounted on a .300 Winchester Magnum with no problems. IMO it is one of the best scopes for the money. Also if you can wait a bit Grafs carries them but they are now out of stock. I don't know when they will get more in but here is a link: GRAFS. That is the cheapest i've seen them. Plus Grafs is a great place to buy from, its where I got mine and I couldn't be happier with them. Nic |
