Sent some emails through NRA's site about the possible upcoming HR1022 bill (new AWB) with some good points about how a ban on sporting rifles didn't work in the past and wouldn't work in the future to prevent crime and this is the response I finally got. No contact from Debbie Stabenow! I wish I could find a copy of the email that I sent but it was basically copied off one that has been going around. You need to contact your lawmakers!

I wrote him back in February about this, and I got a response about the 1994 Ban and that it has expired....  I don't think he reads any of these questions, and some kid just responded to it without taking the time to read the HR 1022 bill. I emailed him again just now about it, and plan to call his office Monday and talk to someone there. |
