Vesting up, old school

I've wanted one of these for a long time. Its a T64 Armor vest. the first flak jacket designed for ground troops. It was designed Late in WWII but was rarely issued because it was too heavy (15lbs, light by today's standards) It saw limited issue in Korea but was a grunts second choice to the lighter m52 vest. The plates aren't steel, and seem to soft to be ceramic, so I'm guessing they are Doron fiberglass like the m51 and m55 vests. I'm guessing it could probably stop a 9mm no problem. The apron part is very thick nylon, I'm guessing at least 20 layers. the rest of the vest has what feels like it has 5 layers of nylon under the plates.the square plates in front and back have snaps that allow them to fold down, I'm not sure for what purpose though.

Please don't shoot yourself while wearing it. Cool though.
