I had to do two while I was in the guard. It is really stupid. They made us sleep in a school gym, and then stand on the bridge all fucking day long from 4 am on. You will see just how stupid people are. People climbing over rails, dangling kids over the side, putting hands down into the joints. One or two folks die every year, because by the time the ambulance can get to them it is way too late. Walking five miles after not doing shit all year is not being nice to your heart or brain arteries. See if you can stand near the towers, the bridge company people stand there so you can bull shit with them and they have drinks and food they may share. The towers are also near the joints and it is cool to see them jump six inches at the time as the sun comes out and goes behind clouds. |
