Gander Moutain in Taylor has one Sat. 12th, with 6 openings left, $130 includes everything, no need to bring your own, teaches tactical and some hand to hand. I know it's not Sunday the 13th like you asked, but it's the only short notice one I knew about. Just trying to help, Danny |

Well I am still looking. I know about a mth or two ago there were quite a few Sun classes. I just work 6 days a week and am not out of work before 7 pm most days so Sunday is really my only option and I need to get this class taken care of ASAP. Anyone looking to take a class in the Metro Detroit area let me know. I finished my class today and really a good experience. If you need something let me know and I highly suggest the class through Jim Binder and his group. They use Double Action for range and the class. They also have other levels of classes. |
| how is jim's class my original class just cancelled so i called jim going to double action sunday the 17 th for his class i work nights and finding a class that i can attend was horrid one day or over a weekend thing is hard to find so called jim played phone tag a while finaly got thru and will be there the 17 th !! |

Jim and his staff are GREAT! Act like an adult, have fun, make jokes and whatever but dont act like a jack ass and you will have no problems.... Someone decided to act up at the end of my class... It almost got ugly to say the least. I am taking another class with Jim in the next couple weeks. He knows what he is talking about, does not try to bore you to death, explains things in a real world view and holds no punches! Oh yeah SEXHOUR!!! Big part of his class.... You will be surprised to say the least. ANYONE needs to take their CCW class contact me and I will tell you how to get ahold of Jim. If you are in the Metro Detroit area I really think he is one of the best guys out there for this course. |

Acting like a jerk is not shutting up in class Acting like a jack ass is acting like Rambo on the range or even just being disrespectful and not listening to the range officers when you are in a class. Why, were you in that class? Tell me what happened if so as I heard it got ugly after I finished up but no one would share the details. |

Jim Binder rocks, I've had several classes with him and his group. he's a great guy to talk to, and a very good teacher to boot. I'm going to take a class probably this fall for my CCW requalification (or whatever they call it), and I'm going to go to him for the class. Super guy, highly recommended. |

Got my CCW the other day. Took all the paperwork in to the Oakland County building and had my prints taken on 4-06 Found it sitting on a stack of paperwork at my office, no one told me it came in on Thursday (5-12) even though they all knew I have been looking for it. SO That is not even 5 weeks WOW Oakland County is on the game! Now I need to find something really small thats good for an empty pocket carry I love my Glock 19 but its too big and no way Id carry a Glock in an empty pocket with no holster. |
