Hi all. I am new to the board but a long time hobby shooter. I live in Grand Rapids and am looking for a transfer freindly FFL. Thos of you that live in West Michigan, sound in. I like to trade, shoot and build.

I was going to join west walker, but they said I had to be a charter member to use the 200yd range. So opted not to. I shoot mostly on my own property.

There is talk about a 300yd rage. I think it will happen but not shire when.

Does anyone have any input on which lower is better. ameetech lower, superior arms lower or grizzly. I ask because I want to buy two and I am very displeased with my DPMS. It fits like hell. I just want things to fit nice. I do like the indented letters and dots on the fire control.

I am a friend of Tom at Gunbugs 949-5020 and have been doing business with him for years. His transfer fee is around 25 dollars. His shop is near the airport.

I live in GR but get my FFL transfer from "Gary's Guns" in Muskegon on East Apple street. Good service and very friendly.

What kind of bad service quality of work or slow turnover? I've had many people recommended them as one of the better smiths in GR. But never personally done business with them.

I have to agree. they are pricy too. I use them as a last resort. If its something I cant do or requires very specific smithing i go elsewhere.
