Barrel Swapping > Michigan

I have a 16" light barrel CAR 15 upper with a flat top reciever and a 20" Bushmaster HBAR A1 upper. I would like to put the A1 receiver on the 16" bbl and the A3 flat top reciever on the HBAR bbl to make it more of a varmint/target gun.

Was wondering if any of you Michigan guys would be interested in either doing it for me or helping me. I have some of the tools to do it but have never done a bbl.

I of course, would offer compensation for any help or the job itself.

I live in Sterling Hts and was at the Lapeer shoot last weekend with my sons.

Come on MI, help the boy out!

I have not done it but it looks pretty strait forward. From what I have read it is a good idea to have a receiver clamp with an insert for the area where the bolt goes in the upper receiver.

I got to play unit armorer for a while in the Army. I built the three uppers I was shooting at the pit. They all turned out OK so I guess I'm qualified as a barrel changer.
