Not a bad show. I did see one guy selling a bunch of old hand and power tools. I didn't see many pre ban ARs (though I admit I breezed through pretty quick). On todays shopping list was stripper clips. The first ones I found were 40 strippers for $15. A guy one or two rows over had the complete bandolier kits for $4. A little bit later I spotted a guy selling 40 strippers for $10. When I finally made it over to the AmmunitionStore.com table, they had 50 strippers for $6. I ended up buying two packs as well as a 3 pack of the guides. I also picked up 100 rounds of linked .50 BMG in an ammo can. I could have really spent an assload of cash at their table but I restrained myself. My brother also picked up a couple packs of stripper clips and a 200 round battle pack of Portuguese for I believe $29. Pretty good prices but you had to shop around. Gun prices seemed to be high (as usual).

I met QCMGR and IronBalaclava (seem like a couple real nice guys) while I was there. Wish I would have had more time to chat but I had to get home so I could get ready for work. We really need to put together a good shoot once the weather breaks.

I was hoping you would say Warrior Kings or something more intimidating.  I made the rounds with IronBalaclava.  Ran into a guy selling crappy steel magazines with real "Colt" base plates.  Overprice Garands and a $2,500 Hesse .50 BMG.  As gun shows go, it was pretty good.  We definitely need to put a shoot together.

How about the "Icy-handed AR.15.com Funeral Squad?"

Yeap, It was a worthwhile event as usual.
I'm glad I got a chance to meet Lumpy 223(he seemed quite resilient even after being mauled by that ferocious grizzly bear!) and
hang out with QCMGR. Good guys.

Hey Q, We happened to have missed about 3 or 4 other members wearing AR-15.com shirts! I was later informed of the entourage by one of the fella's that I chat with at my local range.

Hehe,The guy with the crappy "Navy SEAL drain-hole mags" is always a trip! Anyways, Picked up the last $25 NIW USGI 30 at the show and "quick-haggled" a vendor to sell me a pair of new aftermarket M4 handguards for $25.
Put 'em on when I got home, They fit, function and look Grrreaat!

I'm looking forward to a great shoot in the
very near,uh-slightly warmer future!

It was a good show for me and my pops.  My pops picked up a steyr safegaurd .300 for super cheap and I got myself a new bushy for a good price as well.  We also picked up some ammo for a reasonable price.  It was a good show for us.  Looking forward to the shoot whenever it happens as well.

Sorry I missed you guys. I was mesmerized by all the hardware. It was 11:30 by the time I snapped out of it.

Saw lots of cool toys (SPAS-12, a lovely M1A and a few M-1's, all kinds of tactical shotguns, and the sexiest 9mm Calico you ever did see) but the prices were ridiculous. Guess it's back to the EqEx for me.

I did pick up a nice pocket knife and a cheek rest for my carbine.

I wish that the people puting on the show would get sellers with a good selection of reloading componants in.  I saw one gus selling bulk handgun and larger rifle bullets, and not at what I would call "Good prices".  Saw one guy with $18/1000 for primers and $22/lb for powder.  I don't know what the going price for primers and powder is but that also seems high to me.  I couldn't find anyong selling lead handgun bullets eather.

I did get a few large ammo cans that were is decent shape.  Now I can consoladate some ammo into fewer cans.
