Glock expert near Clarksville? Glock 19 stuck just before battery. Shooting reloads.

Assuming it's stuck on a live round that failed to feed properly I would find a sturdy wooden object like a workbench or railing at the range with a safe direction for the muzzle to point and hook the rear sight on the edge of the wood.

With your finger off the trigger, sharply push the pistol forward to unlock the slide and force ejection of the bad round.

You may scratch it or break the rear sight but it's a Glock, not an art piece. Before you call me a hater I have one on my hip right now. Babying my Glock is like babying my Estwing hammer.

Hold slide in left hand firmly, sharply smack top of grip area forward with web of hand between thumb and forefinger. Maybe use a glove to be able to hit it harder.

Over-length round, perhaps? Mrs. IHJ's P/220 locked up tighter than Dick's proverbial hatband on an over-length cartridge once, and it took a lot of persuasion to come loose.
