Well we have a bunch of big box gun shops:
Cabelas and Bass Pro are south of town off I75, Gander Mtn, Sportsman's Warehouse, Dicks, Academy Sports. There are several smaller shops around: GT Distributors is just across the state line south of town. They used to have quite a bit of stuff but I haven't been down there in a while. Shooters Depot is on hwy 153. They have an indoor shooting range and gun shop. Not a huge selection. Dave's shooting supply is sort of a hole in the wall small shop on Dayton Blvd. I haven't been in there in a while but he had some interesting used guns last time i was in there. Shooter's supply on Hixson Pike I would not recommend. Carters on hwy 58 I would pass on also. If you venture further out there is a place called VOW aka Volunteer Ordnance Works in Cleveland that is decent and Benton Shooters supply in Benton TN east of Cleveland. |
