Anyone have any experience with them? Out of Lexington Tn.  My partner just bought 3 of their billet lowers. Seems solid but I'm looking for real world feedback before reccomending/selling to customers.

I bought a Match set (billet lower and forged upper) in FDE and a BCG early last fall. It is now a 10.5" pistol waiting on a stamp. The upper and lower fit is very tight with zero wobble. The billet lower has an adjustment screw for wobble, but i haven't need it. The LPK went in as it should without any issues. The FDE annodization is very consistant, seems deep and durable. I haven't scratched it, yet. Knock on wood.  The machining is very good. I have not found any machine marks and the magwell is smooth. Every mag I've tried fits, works and drops without issue. Most of the corners are dehorned with a nice chamfer for a nice feel.

CMT's machine shop makes some prototypes for my employer. The prototype shop and engineers have nothing but good things to say about CMT.

Another forum member, superJlarge has a couple of CMT-tac lowers.

CMT is GTG. I'm a quality/sterilization engineer and I can say that CMT is 100% about quality. The fixtures that they utilize in production don't allow for products to be out of spec. Just about every manufacturer knows that there are minor issues with mags dropping free with the M3 Pmags. CMT is already on top of it and is making the necessary tolerance changes.

They are definitely a forward thinking company. They are currently developing a billet upper to use with their lowers. Obviously demand is high with their lowers so they haven't been able to finalize the design as of yet, but it's in the works (I've seen the raw prototype). I was also informed that they are working on an AR-10 variant. Plans are to go with the DPMS model (not exact design) to accommodate a wider range of compatible accesories.

Jeff Cross is one of us. He would never sacrifice quality to meet demands. Nothing goes out the door that he himself would not use. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

I have bought several lowers and several BCG from them. Awesome guys over there.  I like that they designed for a small hex set screw to replace the bolt catch roll pin.

I've built a couple rifles off of their lowers and love the no roll pin assembly.  It's a really nice set up.  I hope they release some of the billet uppers soon.

I spoke to Jeff a few weeks ago about it. It is in the works. It is a few months out at the least. It is hard for them to justify change tooling and setups when lowers are selling so fast right now.
