Welcome aboard.  You'll like it here in C'ville.  Still has a small town feel, schools are great, close enough to Memfrica to enjoy the night life but far enough to avoid most of the dredges.  Couple of decent ranges relatively close, including MSSA in Lakeland.  There's a fair number of members here that shoot/compete out there on a regular basis.  Hit us up if you're interested in making a trip out to shoot.

I like just across the Fatette county line just north east of Collierville, I like it better on a deadend road in the middle of no where, but Collierville is a nice place. I've been out here since 1984.

Memphis man gets 138 years in prison for Collierville home invasion

A Memphis man was taken from a courtroom Tuesday cursing and struggling as he began the 138-year prison sentence he received for a home-invasion attack on a Collierville family two years ago.

A protesting Aaron Tate, 35, received the maximum penalties for each of the eight felonies a Criminal Court jury convicted him of last October. The judge ordered them to be served consecutively.

"If there ever was a dangerous offender, it's Mr. Tate," Judge James Lammey Jr. said. "He is a danger to the community."...
