| I looked around a bit, and didn't really find anything about where to find goex black powder nearish to clarksville. I did some shooting with pyrodex today, but have been on chemotherapy for almost two years, and my stomach and sense of smell are a bit out of whack. The smell of the pyrodex made me want to vomit almost everytime. It has been a long time since I did any black powder shooting, and I miss the real stuff. I would rather not have to drive much more than an hour, but have been thinking about ordering some online. I know the hazmat fees are HIGH, but if you order 25lbs it works out to a reasonable price. That is way more than I need, but i am pretty sure I could find enough people to split it up with, just dont really want to deal with the hassle if i can avoid it. |

I'm not on chemotherapy, but the smell of Pyrodex makes me nauseous anyway. For some reason, the smell of real black powder is a 'good' smell for me. Of course, my wife jokes that she used a little dab of Hoppes #9 as perfume while we were dating. Did you try Reloader's Bench in Mt Juliet? I seem to remember seeing Goex there once. |
