Anyone in Middle TN do any sandblasting? I have 6 pieces of old cast iron cookware that has been spray-painted black that I would like to be cleaned off so I can season them.

Throw them in a self-cleaning oven & run the self-clean cycle...should burn off most paints, though I'm not sure what
the smell would be. 
Or, have a nice fire in the fire pit & burn it off in there (probably what I'd do). Either will work most of the time, unless it's high-temp engine or stove paint. David www.tfaonline.org www.tfaonline.org/forum |
