My 2 bikes, although the sportster is down for the winter, burnt the clutch out of it last night. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v216/SEG21/P5290748.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v216/SEG21/DSC02403.jpg That Sportster looks kind of familiar. Are you in the Knoxville area? What year is it? |

That Sportster looks kind of familiar. Are you in the Knoxville area? What year is it? Live in Maryville, work in Knoxville. It's a 2001 Sportster Sport. I live off the Northshore exit of Pellissippi, so I've probably seen you around. My first HD was 76 bicentennial edition Sportster. Rode it from Knoxville to Key West and back when I was about 18 years old. Wish I still had that one. |

I got to put 850 miles on it before some idiot kid ran over me with his truck. I have had 5 surgeries, donor transplants, and an expensive-ass helicopter ride since April and am just now getting back to walking again. The moral of the story is: Be careful guys, and have good insurance coverage Wow... I'm glad you survived that. I've hit left-turning cars twice in the past 30 years, but always came out with minimal injury. Most of my bike related injuries were on the race track when I was younger. They include a broken foot, a broken collarbone, cracked ribs and numerous stitches. I think my worst fear is being rear ended at a stop light. Good luck with healing up. |

Yep, been riding on the road (legally) since 1978. Rode Harleys for over 20 years, then I got this in 2002. It's an 02 Road Star Warrior. I've got over 30 thousand trouble free miles so far. http://i957.photobucket.com/albums/ae56/Shooter1962/Bikes/DSC09748.jpg I've always liked the Warriors. I like that V&H Propipe on there too. Did you change out or put risers on the handlebars? What's that white cable looking thing on your front brake lever? |

Not sure what you mean about the white cable looking thing, unless it's the brake lines themselves. I put all stainless braded hoses and cables on it. |

I guess they look tight/straight because of the risers. I put risers on my ZZR and it pulled the brake line out fairly tight too, although you can’t see it because of the fairing. |
