I'm fairly new to the forum and thought I would drop in and say Hello..

I live north of Chattanooga, around the Hwy 58 area. Also I shoot a RRA 18" A4 varmint.  I also do alot of predator hunting around this area.

You are very close the the Chattanooga Rifle Club

I was a member there years ago.

They have pistol ranges (covered), 100m,200m,300m,500m,1000m ranges.

Very nice setup.

They had just given out remote controls for the front gate (to members) when I moved away.

I go by the rifle club very often, but From what I heard its really hard to become a member there. I would love to have a membership there, cause with it being close and having the ranges they do, I would be there just about every day.

call them ammo dump and ask for hal.  he's the one to contact about membership info.

i think there's probably a waiting list, but we just went through the yearly renewal, so there's hope for spots.

there's an initiation fee (don't know what it is), yearly dues are $125 for unlimited daytime useage.  it's a helluva deal.

The Chattanooga Rifle Club has 100yd, 200yrd, and 300yrd shooting points that can be used on a regular basis. There is a 500yrd shooting point that can only be used during matches. There is no 1000yrd range at this time.

From the practical pistol page of the web site "*Non-members may participate in scheduled match shooting. "

Here is a link to the Chattanooga Rifle Club web site.
