A big HOWDY to Y'all

My wife are coming to Hendersonville in April to visit relatives.  It's been 30 years since we passed thru Tennesse, heading back to "Orygun" from Quantico, and 20 years since I last saw my cousins from Hendersonville.

Anyway, I wanted to ask you if there are any gun shops that I should hit in the area.  My FFL man will fax the paperwork for anything that I may find.  I'm sort of "filled up" on AR's.  Yeah, I know, that's a sacrilegious statement, but I'm in the market for a dove & quail gun.  I'm specifically looking for an old Winchester Model 59 shotgun.  These won't be found in the big Wally World stores, but in the shops and gunsmiths that deal in older shotguns.

Anyone care to "volunteer" some suggestions in the Nashville area?

A BIG THANK YOU, from an old Grunt from the Beaver state!

You might try Guns & Leather in Greenbrier, TN.  It is not too far from the Hendersonville area.

You could try Game Fair, they're in Nashville and generally deal with alot of older rare guns, atleast from what I've heard. I've never actually been there, I just know a guy that works there.

These guys, for the most part, are great.

I did have an incident where I bought a rifle and they told me they would laser boresight and mount my scope (also bought rings and mount there).

When I returned with my rifle and all parts, suddenly no one wanted to do it.

They are always courteous and have great prices (for a B&M store) but fell a little short on delivering on promises.

They had about 1-2 dozen guns last time I was there. Lowest price was about $2,000 & went up from there...............

Thanks for the suggestions!

Looks like Guns and Leather may be the place to scout for a Winchester Model 59. but Game Fair has the high end dream guns!!!   I won't be able to bring the wife if I go there!!!
