To answer yor question ARfun...Jeff Walle @ Specialty Arms in Lavergne is very good. He's done alot of work on my Springfield 1911. I have always been pleased with his work.

What kind of work do you want done ?

Oh yea.

Alot of it depends on what you have and what you want done. I work on Glocks and AR's, some M1/M1A/M1 carbine stuff. I do mostly military firearms, including building AR's. 1911's I send to a guy in M'boro who also has a full machine shop who is as whiz with all kinds of things.

I agree with Bob about the guy at Specialty Arms. He is a great gunsmith also. I had him free float and bed a really nice 700 I have right after I moved here last September. Just don't buy anything from the shop and you won't feel raped. Just get some gunsmithing stuff done there and you will be happy. PM me if you have any questions.

And yes I am school trained on what I work on. I also have a knack for a bunch of other stuff.

But Bob's mileage may differ....

308 Rifle barrel rechamber,
I've got tools and have built 1911s, rifles are a different story though.
