Well this show was a new low even for Goodman.  NO painted turkey feathers, NO beef jerkey, $2.00 knives out the wazoo and there were more air soft than real guns!

Only good thing about it was it was so slow I did get to talk to Dan from VOW for a little while in peace.  Three AK kits total.  2 Romanian G Models and some kind of krink that was priced WAY more than I would have paid for it.  Only thing I bought was two TAPCO flats and that was only because I needed them.

DON'T THINK I'LL GO AGAIN!!!

I was warned that it'd be worthless but really needed a couple of small parts to finish something up. All they had was the same overpriced crap from before along with the same B.S. stories about how hard it was to come by. Are there really enough suckers that go there to keep these guys in the money?
Too bad that the couple of good guys that are still there have to be surrounded by the rest.

I heard it was real bad.

It was worse than bad, it was horrible.  (And I've been known to work a table at times.)

There were a number of people whose absence was noticeable: J&T, Reloader's Bench, Mitch Teeters (TnRonin here on ARFCOM).  I did see Gun Shitty, errr, I mean Gun City, there.  Their 'smith was set-up, advertising their classes, range, and smith services.  They had one rifle on the table, and I don't believe it was for sale.

The one thing I was looking for, a used set of square butt, J-frame grips, I couldn't find.  No one had any used grips it seemed.

I did see some 7.62x39 for sale on several tables.  Not a lot, but more than I've seen at recent shows.

Only things I bought were a S&W automatic knife and a Japanese made, realistic looking, toy M-16, with real looking mag, triangle handguards, tear drop forward assist, and no brass deflector.  I paid $100 for it, figuring it would make an interesting photo prop, wall hanger, and occassional toy for my 9 year old.

I picked up some used ar mags for $4 apiece . not bad , for shooters. I got 4 and 4 for my brother. also got 2 E german ak mags . paid a little more for those.

It was really bad..really really bad. I hadn't been in a a couple years and I happened to be around and so I took my dad out for a little while.

Some dealers said welcome to the "airsoft" gun show. I mean there were no less than 5-6 airsoft dealers and very limited amount of guns..maybe even more knives than guns. It was IMHO..pitiful.

I tried to stop you!!

I even offered to take 6 bucks, kick you in the nuts, and double the price of the mags so you will still get the "Goodman Gunshow" experience.....but noooooooo!!!
