I am wondering if anyone here has a connection with anyone in the Utah Driver License Division of DPS?
I am asking as it seems my local office here in Vernal doesn't know what to do about my Wife and getting a Utah license. I meet her while in Australia, and she has legally immigrated here and has just received her SS card. They are telling her that she needs to take the vehicle test, and also the motorcycle test. I am guessing that they are doing that b/c they don't know, and actually finding out would be work. Being from Australia, her drivers license is in English and the only thing I can find on the website is: A U.S. military issued driver license is accepted with the same requirements as a license issued by a foreign country; in addition to all other licensing requirements, the applicant must pass eye, written, and driving test. I had no problems getting an Australia DL with my New Mexico CDL one, and then getting a Utah CDL when I got back last year. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |
