So the wife has now added Utah to our short list of 'move to' states. We're currently in Texas, looking to move in the not-so-distant future, just somewhere different (no gripes with Texas, we just want to experience different places).
Any words of wisdom/warning/advice? Personally, I'd love to get a nice chunk of land that I could hunt/shoot on, we'll probably use whatever money we get from our house here to purchase there. Not looking for work at this time (work from home, hopefully continue the same while there). We'll probably take a trip there next year to scout out the area. Thanks! |

Do it OP. The misses and I spent the last year in northern UT due to my work deployment. Beautiful country, super nice people, plenty of space to do just about anything u can imagine outdoors.
and if its not remote enough for you, venture over to Nevada and you have a bazillion square miles of nothingness to shoot and explore. we would drive over to Nevada every couple of weeks while out there. plenty of things to do in UT to keep u busy outdoors. would go back if my family situation was different, and may move back out there when I retire from my current "retirement job" |
