Just to clarify, he was in the local newspaper a few days ago saying he opposes any weapons ban and mag capacity restrictions and is undecided on the background checks bill. Here.
GOP is going to offer amendment to background check bill to mandate CCW reciprocity, which may be how they get it passed. Here.. More likely, however, if the reciprocity amendment succeeds, the dems will scuttle their own background check bill. |
