We all knew this was inevitable. I'm thinking sometime in August, as school will be out and it's far enough in the future for *someone else* to do the planning.

Thoughts?

It sure has been a while. Time for another I suppose.

Who has planned them so far? Whose turn is it? Will someone volunteer?

The closer to the end of august the better.  But that's just me.

I may be able to set something up.

What kind of distances do we need?  100 yards enough?  Just standard pistols and carbines (including class 3) or will the mortars and tannerite come out to play?

Do you want to do more tactical stuff or just throw a bunch of stuff out there and plink at it?

The last one I did was the one I planned in 09'. We shot up near Heber at Dunno's property, which was fantastic. We had all kinds of stuff out there, including Tannerite, although that got nixed due to the dry season and wind. We didn't do much tactical, but I think we'd probably want more than 100m.

If we do it, we should have food, too.  Lots of food.

The first and last week of August are rough for me, but anything in the middle is a go. As far as food, what are we thinking? Grill on site, or go somewhere after?

That was epic when we shoveled the tannerite brush fire into submission and then machine gunned from the pickup mount! That was the first time I shot skeet with a Saiga 12 with Dunno's dad operating the clay thrower.

I'm working too hard so I look forward to another shoot. August would be great. Glad to help in any way.

I think August is a terrible time.  Too hot most of the time for a long shoot.

September would be better IMO.

And I can bring the 4Runner/ machinegun combo out again as long as it is on private land / have permission from the land owner.

You have a minigun?

I did not get the memo!

Nope, but I do have an HK13.

A few guys shot it last time.

I am more than willing to be the driver again.  Next time bring a screw driver to take your plates off before posing for pictures.

I am good with either, but prefer September.  My wife is due in August sometime and would hate to miss the birth because of a range day.

I'm still waiting for a certain someone - we'll call him question man, to bring a G18.

That was a hoot.

Sigh, I miss SLC.
